At the end of November 2011 is published my book:

‘In search of the miraculous, paintings and works on paper 2000-2010'

The book gives in pictures an overview of ten years of painting and can be characterized as a personal retrospective. Besides an introduction by myself and some poems of close friends in the book 56 images of paintings and works on paper form the periode 2000 t/m 2010 are included.

The book is designed by Natalie Vinke and is published by the Foundation for Art Promote in an edition of 1000 copies. The book is printed in full color, has 64 pages and a hard cover. The dimensions of the book are 240 x 220 mm.

Extra special are the first 81 copies of the book. These include a unique work of art on paper (a colored etching). For this edition I have made three different etchings, all three in an edition of 27 pieces. This serie I have given the name ‘Sic itur ad astra’. The individual works are titled: 'Perseverance (A), Transformation (B) and ‘Faith’ (C) which in my opinion refer directly to ‘ingredients' of my personal search. The works are 180 x 180 mm on a paper size of 220 x 220 mm.
